Iran's Consulate in Dubai will help foreign investors with necessary data on making investments in Iran, Iranian Consul general Mohammad-Jafar Khatibzadeh said on Monday.

Speaking to IRNA on the eve of inauguration of a seminar in Dubai on 'Privatization in Iran', the diplomat voiced the Iranian Consulate's readiness to provide those keen on investment in Iran with necessary data and economic figures.

The consulate will also help foreign investors and economic delegations, who are interested to work in Iran or visit the country, with granting visa at the earliest and providing them with data in various economic fields which are suitable for investment.

Khatibzadeh said Iran is an "ideal destination" for foreign investors due to the recent economic development and policies made in the field of privatization.

The seminar on privatization in Iran is expected to open in Dubai later on Monday with the participation of a number of economic officials from Iran and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The seminar aims at attracting more foreign investors to go ahead with activities in various economic fields in Iran, he added.
